Charles' second win came against Sue Goldstein, where his three bingos of DOILIES, TRIALIST, and PREEMIES propelled him to a 453-268 victory.
2nd Thomas Reinke finished with a 2-1 +144 record to beat out the other 2-1 finisher, Helen Flores, for second place in the night's standings. He bounced back from a first-round defeat at the hands of Charles Reinke to win their rematch, 444-412. His bingos were TEARIER and BOATIES#, while Charles had FERMION and IMBODIES. Thomas went on to reach new scoring heights as he made quick work of Helen Flores, winning 479-325 thanks to plays of ASSORTED, PEONAGE, and ELICITOR.
