Join us for Margarita Madness on April 22nd. 

There will be a group attending for casual play and lunch, and there will be a group who will be playing 7 WGPO rated tourney games. 

As far as I know this is the first tournament ever to feature Margaritas at lunch!

MARK KENAS UNDEFEATED IN EXPERTS

1st Mark Kenas swept through the Experts with 4 wins +349 and was bingo King with 11 amazing bingos.

2nd Lynda went 3 and 1, +361. She took Word of the Week and the high V word playing VIATORES which was only one of her 6 bingos.  Her only loss was a 6 point squeaker against undefeated Mark.

3rd Charles Reinke finished third place on 3-2 +269. He managed 8 impressive bingos.



MATT RUST 1st IN INTERMEDIATES

1st Matt Rust lost his only game when he challenged Expert Leslie ending up 1 -3 -66.

2nd Max Maxwell was undefeated in his 2 games and ended with +171.

3rd Molly Gardner captured 3rd with a 1-1 -51 evening.

Eighteen Scrabble players met at Attic Angels this week and celebrated Aki's 85th birthday with great cookies and Mary's almost birthday with chocolates.    Lynda was awarded the $4 prize for the highest V play (in VIZARD), Leslie had the lowest IZ play, Molly took high AR, and Mary had the lowest reported D play.  We'll meet again February 22th at Covenant Church and award $4 prizes for FREMD.

ANDY BOHNSACK UNDEFEATED IN EXPERTS

1st Andy Bohnsack swept through the Experts at 4-0 +418 and was bingo King with 12 amazing bingos and 2 games over 500.

2nd Thomas Reinke went 3 and 1, +345.  All his games were 400+ which reflects his 7 impressive bingos.

3rd Michael David finished third place on 3-1 +147. He also managed 7 impressive bingos.

SUE GOLDSTEIN 1st IN INTERMEDIATES

1st Sue Goldstein was undefeated with a +396 finishing atop the Intermediates.

2nd Harwinder Doud with 2 wins and 1 loss, +7.

3rd Sharlie Miura captured 3rd with a 2-1 -121 evening.

Twenty one Scrabble players met at Barnes and Noble this week.  We might have had one more if we had had another game board.  Please bring your boards and tiles.  Susan Vergeront was awarded the $4 prize for the highest K play (in KUFI), Matt Rust had the lowest U play, Mary Becker took high F, and Andy Bohnsack had the lowest reported I play.  Helen Flores played INVEIGLE for word of the week.
We'll meet again February 15th at Attic Angels and award $4 prizes for VIZARD.
