EXPERTS

Four experts had 3 and 1 records so the winner was decided by cumulative spread.

1st Thomas Reinke secured the top spot accumulating a +315 spread and Bingo King honors playing 8 bingoes.  Thomas only loss was to second place Andy.

2nd Andy Bohnsack's only loss was to Michael. He accumulated a +250 and also played  8 bingoes.

3rd Lynda Finn lost her only game to Andy, ending the evening 3/1 +241.  She played an impressive 6 bingoes.

INTERMEDIATES

1st Sue Goldstein won 3 of her 4 games losing only to Barb and accumulating +38.

2nd June Scott won 2 and lost 2 +117.

3rd Sharlie Miura ended the evening 1/2 -83.

Attic Angels hosted 16 players gathered. Next week we will meet at the Church. Prize word for March 27 will be OIDIA - an odium, a fungal spore.

EXPERTS

1st Lynda Finn secured the top spot going undefeated for the evening, playing 5 games and accumulating a +316 spread and playing 8 bingoes.

2nd Charles Reinke's only loss was to Lynda.  He edged out his brother and managed an impressive +377 spread, playing 8 bingoes including the 9 letter LIFTGATE.

3rd Thomas Reinke also lost his only game to Lynda, ending the evening 3/1 +343.  He played an impressive 10 bingoes but lost out on the Bingo King to Andy Bohnsack who managed 13 bingoes for the evening.

INTERMEDIATES

1st Barbara Besadny played down again to even out the Intermediate level and cleaned house winning all of her 4 games with a +204.

2nd Aki Miura did not lose a game.  He tied in his game with Sue and ended the evening 2/0/1 +85.

3rd Sue Goldstein had a record or 2/1/1 +91.

Sixteen players gathered at Barnes and Noble on a lovely early Spring evening. Next week we will meet at Attic Angels. Prize word for March 21 will be HIJRA also spelled HEGIRA or HEJIRA - aflight to escape danger.

There have been a few recent changes made to the site.  The biggest one is that there is now a way to view all the club sessions a player has played in and their record, averages, etc. for each session.  This page can be reached by viewing a player and then clicking on "sessions" in their individual navigation bar.  Or, if you don't want to click around, a sample can be viewed at http://madisonscrabble.com/clubstats/playersession.php?id=8.

Hand-in-hand with this is a new "scorecard" feature, which looks like the scorecard you fill out at club and gives details for your performance at a club meeting.  These can be viewed from the aforementioned "sessions" page or from the the session overview page (http://madisonscrabble.com/clubstats/session.php), click on a player's record to view their scorecard).

Finally, the session overview page has been updated to make getting to past sessions easier.  The "Next" and "Previous" buttons, as well as the "Look at all sessions" button, will assist you.  Be aware that you might need to refresh the page in order for the buttons to display properly.  This is due to web browsers caching style information for the site.

Up next should be stat overviews from previous years (no game-by-game data, sorry!) and a few more fancy graphs such as the ones on the "bingos" page (http://madisonscrabble.com/clubstats/bingorecords.php).
